Breast Implants

Do breast implants need to be replaced during the course of my lifetime? I am interested in getting implants, but need to know whether I will need more than one surgery.

I had saline, so I noticed that my breast was becoming smaller over time, but I had no pain or weird sensations.

I went to my doctor and he immediately saw that it was smaller than the left one. I only had to replace the right one. I did not pay for the implant because they are Mentor and under warranty.

Is there a lot of pain involved? How long before it goes away?

My pain was controlled by pills. My feeling was more of fullness and pressure. It took a few weeks getting used to and soreness was my biggest issue instead of actual pain.
