Our recommendation is for a woman to complete her family before a tummy tuck. Should a patient become pregnant, she would be able to carry the pregnancy to term. A small touch up to her tummytuck may or may not be needed.
I donít know what the rule is, but a friend of mine got remarried after her tummytuck and managed to get pregnant.

Because of the time needed to heal, I think you should wait before you have your first tummy tuck.
I had a small hernia form a previous surgery that my plastic surgeon fixed at the same time , but he was insisting that I had to wear a compression garment for the whole 6 weeks, 24/7. Itís not that comfortable, but itís worth it in the end.

How long does it take to heal after a tummy tuck and what does it involve?

All what I know is that I completed my family, had my tummytuck done and did my boobs at the same time. The recovery was not so bad and I am DONE!
No girl, you can have your tummy tuck now and then, after your next baby, you can deal with it then.
